The WSM750 Online Hydrogen Analyzer, launched by INNOKIE Technology GmbH in Germany, is a hydrogen analyzer based on the thermal conductivity principle. Its working principle is that different gases have different thermal efficiencies, and the thermal conductivity of a gas mixture varies with its composition. Leveraging this physical property, the analyzer can accurately and rapidly measure hydrogen concentration in gases. It provides essential data for efficient energy utilization, as well as reliable information for safety protection and environmental monitoring. The WSM750 is widely used across various industrial fields.
Analysis Principle
The thermal conductivity detector (TCD) was first used in the chemical industry in the 1920s for process measurements to determine the quantitative composition of gas mixtures. Each gas has a typical thermal conductivity determined by its viscosity, molecular weight, and temperature. The influence of gas pressure on thermal conductivity is negligible. The measurement principle is that when gases with different thermal conductivities are mixed, the thermal conductivity of the mixture depends on its composition. Therefore, the concentration of the measured gas component can be determined.
